My passions are hoop dancing, writing fantasy and historical novels, J.K Rowling novels, chocolate chip ice cream, and costume dramas. I love to watch films that touch my spirit and uplift my senses.

I grew up in a Christian household, was home schooled, and wandered a little from my faith when I was sixteen. I started to believe that Christians were essentially "no fun," until my mom and aunt to me to a Women of Faith conference. What I experienced that weekend was a renewed belief in God. During their prayer call, I rededicated my life to Christ.

Charity's Place was started in the mid nineties and began as just a weekend project. I had a lot of movie information and wallpapers here, but over time the reviewing section began to get bigger and bigger and I decided to make it our main focus. Our reviewers are much younger than most that work for other sites in our website's genre. Most of them love costume dramas and can relate to our teen and young adult readers. Parents can benefit from the website as well, but we really are among for young people in our age group.

You will not find a way to contact me on the website, because I have encountered too much verbal abuse in the past to make it easy to share your thoughts. Unfortunately, anyone who does not believe we have a right to have an opinion on what goes into our mind often uses coarse language rather than intelligent debate to prove their point. But God told us we would be persecuted, and just being occasionally screamed at means that I am doing some good in the world.
